Thomas Edison-christopher ventura

My name is Thomas Edison, I was born in 1847, my whole life I have been a curious child. I have always been interested in in electricity, it fascinates me. I worked recently worked for a new York company, there I was extremely successful, I improved the stock tickers that sent stock and gold prices to other offices, for this I was given a $40,000 bonus. I decided to take my new found wealth and begin a career as an inventor at the age of 23, which was very successful. In 1876 I moved my base of operations form Menlo Park to New Jersey.  I have never received any formal science training, but I knew what I was doing, I could produce a minor invention   every tens and a major invention every six months. My first invention the phonograph, recorded sounds on metal foil wrapped around a rotating cylinder. One of my major goals was to find a replacement for the lamp, I had an idea to trap electrical currents in a glass bulb that would produce a light that could brighten up a room. I was successful. In 1880 me and my fellow team of inventors finally found a workable filament made of bamboo fiber that could carry the electrical current and produce light.in 1882 I built a power plant that lit dozens of building in new York city, by 1890 my power plants were spread across the nation and were powering the country. They powered plants such as the iron and steel industries. Andrew Garnegie was a man that took my inventions to the next level, he built Pittsburgh's Carnegie Steel Company, which was a Federal Steel Company and several smaller companies to create U.S. Steel that supplied the nation.
